The North American Fastpitch Association (NAFA) annually hosts the largest men’s fastpitch softball tournament in the world. This incredible fastpitch organization was founded in Chicago in March of 1993 by Pat Bucknell, Jim Williamson, Loren Lathrop, Ronn Kopp, Roger Regez, Milt Waschow and Bill Musolf.
In, 2012, NAFA celebrated its 20th Anniversary with great success in Topeka, Kansas. Led by Executive Director, Benjie Hedgecock, and an 11 person Executive Committee(see “Contact US” page) 4 founders are still active in the organization. NAFA is in every state and province in the US and Canada that plays fastpitch(fastball).
We begin our next 20 years in 2013 in beautiful Des Moines, Iowa, the geographical center of the Midwest Fastpitch Community.
