		  The State Directors 
		are appointed for one-year terms by the Executive Director and the term 
		runs from October 1st to September 30th each year 
		 
		
		Each State Director reports to both the Vice President that oversees 
		their area and the Executive Director 
		 
		
		Each State Director promotes NAFA 
		annually, works with other softball National Affiliations to promote the 
		sport, oversees the operation and sanctioning of travel leagues, State 
		Tournaments and Invitational World Series Qualifiers 
		 
		
		The State Director 
		also assists with team, player and pitcher classification in their area 
		and in surrounding areas. 
		
		  The State Director registers teams with the 
		national office and provides mailing lists to the national office as 
		well as distributing Brochures provided to all teams in the area or at 
		events that they attend.
